Build your profile once, apply everywhere
Most of the time you spend applying to jobs isn’t spent deciding anything. It’s spent re-typing the same address, the same dates, the same three bullet points into a slightly different form. CareerDoc’s whole premise is that you should do that once.
The five minutes that pay off later
When you set up your profile, you’re really building a small structured record of your work history that every later application can borrow from. The parts worth slowing down for:
- Your headline roles. Two or three positions, with real dates. Everything downstream keys off these.
- Impact lines, not duty lines. “Cut onboarding time 40%” beats “responsible for onboarding.” Write them once, reuse them forever.
- The boring facts. Notice period, work authorisation, salary expectation. You’ll be asked every time; answer them here and never again.
What CareerDoc does with it
From then on, the extension recognises the fields on an application form and fills them from your profile. You review, adjust the one or two things that are role-specific, and submit. The work between you and the interview shrinks to the part that actually needs your judgement.
